Our Wedding

We envisioned a beachy wedding that was elegant, yet fun and relaxed on a gorgeous island with plenty of activities....and we found it all in Saint Lucia! We hope you will be able to join us as we exchange wedding vows and soak up some sun! . . . . . Our wedding will be June 3rd at 3:00pm on the private Anse Mamin Beach (wear comfortable clothes and sand-friendly shoes!). We will snap a few photos, and then hop aboard one of the resort's boats for a sunset cruise with champagne and hors d' oeuvres. Next, we'll return to Anse Chastanet for a dinner reception right on the beach, and then it's cocktails and entertainment by gorgeous moonlight until the wee hours! . . . . . Please join us!

Travel Arrangements

1. You need a passport but no visa is necessessary. . . . . 2. You should probably fly. :) heehee. Fly into Hewanorra International Airport (airport code: UVF). It's going to take us about 7 hours to get there from St. Louis, so bring a good book and your ipod! . . . . 3. Taxi transfer the 18 miles to Anse Chastanet, is approximately $60.00 (USD) and takes about 1 hour. . . . . . 4. You can review the website www.ansechastanet.com to decide on the room you want and then call 1-800-223-1108 to make your reservation. Tell them you are with our wedding party and you will get 15% off. I don't know how booked up they are and it is a fairly small resort, so it might not be a bad idea to reserve the room earlier versus later. . . . . 5. The hotel has all-inclusive and partially-inclusive options for meals and drinks if you are interested. . . . . 6. Electricity is 220V, so you'll need adapters and transformers. . . . .7. English is the official (and primary) language spoken on St. Lucia, so communication shouldn't be an issue for most of you ;) . . . . . 8. We will be at Anse Chastanet from May 27 - June 11 (2010).

Hello! . . .

We really hope to share our wedding ceremony with the special people in our lives, and we would be truly honored if you'd join us for this special day! There's a lot to do in Saint Lucia, so why not celebrate with us and linger for a while! You can snorkle in the colorful reefs just off the hotel's beach, glide through the rainforest on a zipline, climb the Pitons, relax in the hot mineral springs, or just soak up the sun on the beach with cocktail in hand. Help us tie the knot in paradise! . . .
