Liz and I first met at the Baylor Landing apartments while attending Baylor University. While walking home from class, I noticed a tall, beautiful brunette walking towards the gate through which I had just entered. Now being the sociable individual that I am, I of course said "Hello!" But much to my chagrin, Liz completely ignored me. Seeing this as a challenge, I decided to rise to the occasion. So for the next few weeks I made an effort to say "hello" to Liz at every opportunity possible. Finally, through sheer persistence and annoyance, I made her acquaintance and we became tentative friends for the remainder of my college career. However, after leaving college and attending Law School, we lost touch with each other for three years. After completing law school and coming back home, I decided to randomly call various people that I had known in college, and so went down the phone list. It was during this time that I called Liz and for some reason she seemed amicable to the idea of going to a museum together. And so we unknowingly began our courtship at that time. From there our friendship progressed to exclusivity and then dating and from dating to unofficially becoming engaged, and from there to actually bending knee and asking the most wonderful woman in the world to become my wife. All of which began with a random girl ignoring a random guy at school.
