We met 7 years ago (well, almost) in Pete's first apartment in D.C. Katie was on her first break from college, Pete a wide-eyed bachelor fresh out of undergrad. They met, became close friends, and three years later, decided to stop wasting their time avoiding the obvious and started dating.

The rest, well, is history.....

We are getting married in front of a beautiful, cascading waterfall at the Anse Chastanet Resort in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Photographs will be posted soon after we return, and when we have a chance, we are all getting together and watching the video of our big day.

For those of you feeling extra brave (or need to get our of the country for a few days in October), we suggest booking airfare through American Airlines (they offer more flights from D.C. than any other carrier).

In regards to lodging, we are staying at the Anse Chastanet Resort (www.ansechastanet.com). We also recommend the Stonefield Resort (www.stonefieldvillas.com) as well as doing a simple search on Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, etc. for local hotels to Soufriere.

First of all, thank you for visiting our little page. Wd are blessed to have so many friends and family excited about this very special day. We want you to know our decision to get married in St. Lucia with only those who dare such a trip on extremely short notice has less to do with not wanting a big wedding and more to do with wanting to focus on each other and more importantly, what will be the most special day of our life together.

We love you all and even though we wish everyone could come, we understand that many can't. Once we return, one of our first priorities (besides enjoying married life!) is going to be to put together some sort of function where we can celebrate with our friends and families who are unable to come.
