Our meeting was truely by "chance" in winter 2004, in our favorite dive bagel shop. Katherine was exiting the bagel shop when she spotted this wonderful looking man whom she had not seen in there before. Enter David, a botanist from Colorado. David had just ordered his beloved "bagelwich" sandwich (with extra cheese) and it really was love at first sight.

David asked Katherine to marry him on Valentine's Day 2006 when he presented her with a little velvet box containing a beautiful ring and two little heart shaped candies, the kind that children give each other on this day, both etched with a question, "Marry Me". David confirmed that the candies were indeed a proposal, promptly tears and champagne followed. We feel blessed to have found each other.

Our wedding (April 28th 2007) will be a non-traditional affair, like us. Think of it as a party with a ceremony embedded in it. At sunset we will gather for our "We Do" party at the home of Dr. Barry and Stacy Frank located in the Red Rock Country Club. The following day we will embark for St. Lucia and our dream honeymoon.

We are so excited that you have chosen to participate in our special day. We have invited our dearest family members and closest friends to share this day with us, and we can not wait to get this party started!
