We will witness panoramic views of the Pitons, palm-tree lined beaches and the sparkling calm and clear waters of the Caribbean, while learning about the history and uses of the island’s herbs, plants and rare animals and birds. For the day we will discover Martinique Island, a little slice of France set down in the tropics. Also known as the Isle of Flowers, with its natural tropical floral, we will see wild frangipani, orchids, hibiscus and neon-bright bougainvillea. As we venture to the very stylish and sophisticated little villages of the French speaking island we will stop for a sumptuous lunch at one of the cafes along the beach. Then it's back to the hotel and a nice cold refreshing beverage!
